Kicking off our indie series with one of our own! Written and directed by Matthew A. Brown and starring Winter Williams. A neo-noir revenge thriller centering on Julia Shames, who after suffering a brutal trauma, falls prey to an unorthodox form of therapy to restore herself.

About the event
We are kicking off our Indie film series with one of our own. This film is special to me as it was the one that I met my husband on and to be honest, the best role I got to play in my career to date.Â

This film was released in AMC theaters in 2015 after selling to over 30 international territories and winning multiple awards including Best Film and Best Actress at some of the worlds leading genre Film Festivals.Â

After the screening I will be interviewing Matthew A. Brown writer/director/producer of the film (and husband and father to our two boys!). We both will be open to some questions afterward and Matthew will also be announcing a new feature film project, to be set in Wisconsin, that could involve YOU.Â
