The Princess Bride

Join Cinema In The Pines and the Wisconsin Computer Club for a unique movie viewing experience on Friday, January 10th! Our presentation of "The Princess Bride" will be on RCA CED SelectaVision, a long defunct home video format that utilized specialized vinyl disks to play movies. These machines were only available between 1981 and 1986, and were considered a commercial failure at the time, so few remain in working order today. Our player will be operating with an acrylic cover so attendees can see this unusual machine in operation. 

This screening will be unique and educational and great for kids too! Come learn about this obsolete media form. The disc will be played on a RCA Selectavision Videodisc player projected onto our big screen.
