Feature Film Projects
Dedicated to nurturing new talent, In The Pines provides students with hands-on experience in feature film productions. Through our partnership with Subversive Films, founded by Matthew A. Brown, we’re committed to creating authentic Midwestern films with global resonance.
Our first feature, Killdeer, a dramatic thriller set on North Dakota’s Bakken oilfields, begins production in February 2026. Next up, Blaze, a rural thriller set in Central Wisconsin, is currently in development and will star our founder, Winter Williams, alongside a rising talent from our Teen Acting Workshop, to be announced soon.
By leveraging local partnerships and decades of film industry connections, we produce high-quality films at low cost, maximizing investor returns while showcasing the Midwest on the global stage.
