Drama & Storytelling Classes
For Kids

At the age of 9, I fondly recall putting on plays in my living room, inviting my neighbors, and having an absolute blast. But it wasn't until I joined a local children's theater program that I discovered how much I needed more challenging creative outlets. Unfortunately, quality children's drama programs aren't always available in every town and I feel grateful for the opportunities I had. That’s why I want to give back to the community here, by providing similar chances for kids to explore their creative selves.

In these classes your child will learn "building ensemble"; developing sensory awareness; stage movement; vocal projection; improvisation and creating characters.

When we conclude the season your child will have the opportunity to share with you what they have learned thus far. The season will end with a simple yet heartfelt performance, where kids showcase their growth through collaborative story, complete with lighting and homemade costumes.

Small class sizes will ensure personalized attention while fostering teamwork and collaboration.

In the Pines Studio is more than just a space; it's a cozy, nurturing environment that inspires creativity and self expression, helping every child feel safe to explore their artistic potential.

Parents may stay and watch and/or sit and relax by the fire with coffee/tea and read or write if they'd like! A quiet activity is preferable so that your child can focus without distraction.
