Screenwriting for Film/TV

ONE-DAY SCREENWRITING INTENSIVE
Saturday, March 28, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

A full-day deep dive into story, structure, and voice.

This one-day screenwriting intensive is designed for writers who already have a story they want to tell - whether it’s an idea, a work in progress, or an unfinished script.

Over eight focused hours, participants will work closely with filmmaker and writer Matthew A. Brown to develop a clear blueprint for their screenplay. Through guided writing exercises, curated film clips, group discussion, and dedicated writing time, each participant will leave with a deeper understanding of their narrative and a concrete path forward.

The workshop takes place at In The Pines Studio, a quiet, rural creative space just outside of town. The studio is intentionally designed to feel warm, calm, and inviting - softly lit by ambient lighting and chandeliers, with thoughtful art and decor that soothe the senses. During colder months, a fire burns in the studio, creating a grounded, home-like atmosphere that encourages focus, reflection, and imaginative work. The surrounding landscape offers a sense of retreat from daily noise, allowing writers to settle fully into the creative process.

This is an intimate, hands-on workshop with time for individual attention and feedback.
